Water Filters
We are researching and developing a water filter design that we will partner with a factory to produce. We will distribute these filters for free to low-income communities who don't have equal access to clean water.
Details and Progress
Our filter will be relatively small and will be mounted onto water bottles and sinks to filter as you use them. It will be made of silicon instead of plastic and it will use a multistage filtration system involving mesh and activated carbon to remove a large portion of harmful materials such as heavy metals and microplastics. Currently, we are building prototypes to test the effectiveness of our design.
